SPRING CLEANING

TERMS OF TRADE

1. Definitions

   Company means Spring Cleaning.


2. Acceptance

   By requesting, booking, or accepting Services from Spring Cleaning, the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms of Trade.


3. Quotations and Pricing

   Quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Prices are in NZD and include GST unless stated otherwise.


4. Bookings and Access

   Customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the Property.


5. Payment Terms

   Payment due on completion or as invoiced. Late payments will incur a monthly late payment fee of $10.00 and recovery costs.


6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

   Less than 24 hours notice may incur cancellation fees.


7. Customer Responsibilities

   Secure valuables and disclose hazards.


8. Health and Safety

   Spring Cleaning may refuse unsafe work.


9. Satisfaction Guarantee

   Issues must be reported within 24 hours so we can attempt to remedy them.


10. Damage and Liability

   Liability limited to the value of services provided, subject to law.


11. Insurance

   Spring Cleaning maintains public liability insurance.


12. End-of-Tenancy and Bond Cleaning

   No guarantee of bond release by third parties.


13. Recurring Residential Cleaning Services

   13.1 Ongoing Service Schedule – weekly, fortnightly or monthly cleans as agreed.

   13.2 Service Changes – schedules may be adjusted with notice.

   13.3 Customer Absence – customer need not be present where access is arranged.

   13.4 Suspension of Services – 48 hours notice preferred.

   13.5 Termination – 14 days written notice by either party.

   13.6 Price Reviews – 30 days notice of price changes.

   13.7 Initial Deep Clean – may be required before regular service.


14. Key Holding and Property Access

   14.1 Key Holding Authority – keys used only for service delivery.

   14.2 Security of Keys – keys stored securely and coded.

   14.3 Loss of Keys – liability limited to replacement costs where negligent.

   14.4 Customer Responsibility – provide accurate access information.

   14.5 Alarm Systems – not liable for incorrect alarm information.

   14.6 Access Failure – scheduled visit may be charged.

   14.7 Return of Keys – returned on termination.

   14.8 Key Holding Acknowledgement

   Customer voluntarily provides access credentials and acknowledges reasonable precautions will be taken.


15. Commercial Clients

   Commercial agreements may be terminated on 30 days written notice.


16. Disputes

   Parties will attempt good-faith resolution.


17. Force Majeure

   No liability for events beyond reasonable control.


18. Privacy

   Personal information handled under NZ privacy laws.


19. Consumer Guarantees Act

   Consumer rights remain unaffected where applicable.


20. General

   Governed by the laws of New Zealand.
